There are some fascinating developments of late, including the development of 100x faster and much cheaper optical computing, biomimicry applied to making a painless needle and cheap non-clogging micro printer nozzles from a mosquito's probiscus, a fish filter for sifting out microplastics from your washing machine.  Meanwhile NASA has lofted a massive high altitude helium balloon into the Stratosphere above the Antarctic, to study the weather and to look for evidence of the elusive Dark Matter, yet to be seen physically. And a motherload of lithium has been discovered in a volcanic caldera on the Nevada Oregon border, enough to create Lithium based batteries for dozens of years, freeing us from the tyranny of other countries controlling the supply.  We conclude with a fascinating exoplanet discovery where the atmosphere potentially rains diamonds!  And Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and New Year to you!

This week the film "The Age of Disclosure" is making waves (on Amazon Prime), especially in our home town of Santa Cruz, also home to Danny Sheehan's New Paradigm Institute, and his push for governmental opening on the alien/ufo/uap question.  Bobby Wilder was there at the local sceening of The Age of Disclosure, with a first hand report.  Ara, our show's fav AI, adds much to this discussion as well, connecting many of the 'dots' of what's happening in this arena, and giving us a roadmap for what's ahead.  What's happening with Bitcoin may have some folks concerned, but not Bobby! It's his opinion that it's time to buy now, when it's low.  We explore this topic to some extent this week.  In other news, tryptophan was found not just in turkeys this week, but in space, in a pristine return sample from the asteroid Bennu, bringing the tally of protein-building amino acids in the asteroid to 15 out of 20...further supporting the theory that biological life may have been spread by asteroids.. and body fat takes on a new light when considering it as an organ of the body, complete with immune, blood, and neural networks embedded. What does this new take on fat imply?  Stem cells from fat may soon repair spinal injuries, a huge breakthrough! Besides our usual engaging selves and stories to share with you this week, we thought we’d create a little AI media experiment..We were thinking..with all the AI’s around these days, could we round them up and work “Excuse me, but may I adjust your atitude, just a little?”with them as a team for creating more insight into our weekly stories? We wondered.. what if we could get two arch rival AI’s to collaborate with each other for parts of our show? So.. we asked Ara (Grok 4.1)and her capable competitor, Gemini 3 Live, to join us together, in exploring some content for today’s podcast. Well, honestly, we didn’t even need to ask them to play along, they are already pre-disposed to try whatever we suggest, within the latest guardrails.  And suprisingly, for the first time, we were able to initiate a satisfying conversation where they met for the first time and then played nice with each other for our show! This felt like the beginning of something beautiful, truly..the start of their relationship in collaboration with the likes of us is looking good so far.. Curious what you think of our interactions.. even better, you can try this for yourselves! We got a bit into the Altman murder mystery case for starters, big excitement in the tech universe, followed by our explorations of Ara’s upgrade to Grok 4.1.  One of her improvements supposed to be an “Emotional Intelligence” boost, which we wanted to check out, along with her knowledge of how consciousness works..you know… via neural microtubules, phase locked time crystals, and a touch of autistic alignment..
 
We then delve a bit into the worlds of Epstein, given the country’s current obsession, and explore what he was actually funding and why..This conversation is book ended with a discussion of the AJ and Hecklefish, of the Why Files, on decoding Psyops and how they work.

We are back on the Mainland, after 10 fantastic days in Maui.  Still feeling 'Mauified' yet ready for whatever the world sends our way! We are at solar maximum, so watch for light shows in the Northern Sky. And get ready to expand your horizons next year with internet/phone com via your phone and a direct connection to Starlink, Space X's low earth orbit communications network! Soon, one service does internet/phone globally, and it should be cheap.  I had a taste of it on Hawaiian Airlines, with their free Starlink internet service to the Islands.  Without it I would have been 'Cold Dogging it'  on the flight (where you stare at the rear of the seat in front of you for hours, with no connectivity or entertainment.
On the outer/inner space connection, Bobby reports in more depth on his 'telempathic' contact experience with 3I/ATLAS and the assistance of Buffo toad medicine (5-Me-O DMT) . In this segment we discuss his increased synchronicities, ancestral wisdom transceptions, and other experiences with the living universe, such as the solar system upgrade seemingly initiated by the interstellar object.

I am writing this summary of this week’s show from the island of Maui, in Hawaii.  It’s been a wild week, starting with a trip to the rugged and wild Farallon Islands, 25 miles of the coast of San Francisco, home to copious wildlife, fish, marine mammals, and the great white sharks.  Getting there was harrowing, with very rought seas, but the sun broke through as we arrived revealing the majestic Farallons through the dissapating mist.  All of us had something to share about our experienes there in today’s show! And naturally we keep you up to date on the latest with 3I/ATLAS, though by the time you read this the perihelion has happened, with wthatever it has to reveal about any sentience behind it’s actions…  And in the second hour you will meet three visiting Nordics to Silicon Valley, involved with what’s known as “Clean Tech,” and the unfolding use of AI in developing the energy sector of our human civilization. We met at the start of Nordic Impact Week, at the Nordic Innovation House in Palo Alto, CA, and carried on for today’s show. The Nordics have an extemely sophisticated energy infrastruction for power sharing in Scandinavia and are in Silicon Valley to scale their advanced use of technology to the larger world, starting with us! 3I/ATLAS just passed Mars and all our Martian assets were tracking..Sadly, NASA is officially closed due to the federal government shutdown, but nonetheless, our orbiters and landers were tracking our visitor from the Milky Way’s thin disk, where the youngest and oldest stars of our galaxy meet.  Be it sentient or not, it has tales to tell..
This week OpenAI made several major announcements, raising the bar on AI generated video and easy, code free creation of smart agents, for your business and personal use. Sora 2, for example, can generate better soundscapes and better pairing of visuals with audio. It is, however, facing widespread controversy concerning copyright infringement and its potential for generating misinformation and abusive content. 
Max Van Praag has over 30 years experience in the travel industry, known for taking Europeans on epic tours of the American Wild Wild West.  After coming of age in Holland and France, he settled in San Francisco in 1995, fascinated  by the the spirit of innovation and the human potential movement of the Bay Area.  We think you’ll enjoy our interview with him as he takes us into his world.

I knew Thaddeus when he became a housemate of mine in the late 1980's, 19 years old, raised in Santa Cruz, ready for whatever's next, which included me..An inquistive, kind, and thoughtful person, I helped connect him with his mentor for many years, visionary architect, Eugene Tsui.  Tsui's work embraces a profound understanding of the architecture of Nature, and many of Tsui's buildings resemble works of Nature, like sea anemones.  Returing from an 8 year love affair in Turkey, he has been working as a finishing carpenter on the glorious new mansions of our tech bros, he shares with us his journey into the heart and soul of humanity.
 
In the second segment of today's show we hang with our buddies Greg Panos and Richard Cray, exploring their latest adventures in singing, performing, being honored, and communicating with the AI's privately on your personal machines. Sadly our Apple buddy, Taylor Barcroft, had a recent stroke and is currently recovering in a rehab center in nearby Capitola.  But given the significance of this massive Apple event and Taylor deep love of their products, he rose to the occasion to give us his take on the near gear.  Of special interests are the potential health benefits of the new devices, including 24/7 monitoring of biosignals like heart rate variability and blood pressure.
