3I/ATLAS just passed Mars and all our Martian assets were tracking..Sadly, NASA is officially closed due to the federal government shutdown, but nonetheless, our orbiters and landers were tracking our visitor from the Milky Way’s thin disk, where the youngest and oldest stars of our galaxy meet. Be it sentient or not, it has tales to tell..
This week OpenAI made several major announcements, raising the bar on AI generated video and easy, code free creation of smart agents, for your business and personal use. Sora 2, for example, can generate better soundscapes and better pairing of visuals with audio. It is, however, facing widespread controversy concerning copyright infringement and its potential for generating misinformation and abusive content.
Max Van Praag has over 30 years experience in the travel industry, known for taking Europeans on epic tours of the American Wild Wild West. After coming of age in Holland and France, he settled in San Francisco in 1995, fascinated by the the spirit of innovation and the human potential movement of the Bay Area. We think you’ll enjoy our interview with him as he takes us into his world.

Listen to Ep. 131 Future Now Show
'Love, Turkey, and visionary architecture' with Minimalist Tadd van Patton, 'Seeing Life as it is.." with Richard Thaddeus Van PettenCray, "Perfection is the enemy of the Good," with Greg Panos
I knew Thaddeus when he became a housemate of mine in the late 1980's, 19 years old, raised in Santa Cruz, ready for whatever's next, which included me..An inquistive, kind, and thoughtful person, I helped connect him with his mentor for many years, visionary architect, Eugene Tsui. Tsui's work embraces a profound understanding of the architecture of Nature, and many of Tsui's buildings resemble works of Nature, like sea anemones. Returing from an 8 year love affair in Turkey, he has been working as a finishing carpenter on the glorious new mansions of our tech bros, he shares with us his journey into the heart and soul of humanity.
In the second segment of today's show we hang with our buddies Greg Panos and Richard Cray, exploring their latest adventures in singing, performing, being honored, and communicating with the AI's privately on your personal machines. The last song of the show is from Richard's performance in The Man from La Mancha, in Maui last year. And just somehow his performance perfectly meshes wtih Gregory's seamlessly interwining the real with digital worlds. Enjoy!

This week we have geopolitical concerns, and criticize legacy media calls for war. We then explore theories of quantum consciousness and reality splits. We then focus on celestial events like the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS, along with the threat of asteroids, which leads to a discussion about space exploration and militarization, contrasting NASA's historical role with the newly formed Space Force. Our conversation also touches on the latest on extraterrestrial life on Mars, current scientific findings about mirror life and its ethical implications, and the potential for nuclear-powered space travel. Finally, we discuss the challenges of AI hallucinations and conclude with a review of the anti-aging supplement, Creatine, and a description of a three thousand ship drone show over the Vatican by Elon Musk's brother, Kimbal's company, Nova Sky Stories. Enjoy!

Ah yes, it’s that time of year when Apple Computer announces their latest offerings, the iPhone 17 series, the Apple Watch 11, Airpods Pro 3 and the iPhone Air. Sadly our Apple buddy, Taylor Barcroft, had a recent stroke and is currently recovering in a rehab center in nearby Capitola. But given the significance of this massive Apple event and Taylor deep love of their products, he rose to the occasion to give us his take on the near gear. Of special interests are the potential health benefits of the new devices, including 24/7 monitoring of biosignals like heart rate variability and blood pressure.
We then branch into broader topics, such as the implications of AI on creativity and careers, discoveries in space exploration including the Voyager discovery of a solar system firewall surrounding us, and the latest with I3/ATLAS, our latest interstellar object passing by us. We then get a bit philosophical on time, reality, and human imagination, interspersed with our lighthearted banter, personal anecdotes, and insights. Enjoy!

What is the color of your brain, any idea? According to Bobby Wilder, our science correspondent, orange and blue brains are a sign of good health, thanks to the abundant use of brain supplements that enhance cognition. In today's show he shares with us some of the supplements he takes for maximum brain health, like Magnesium L-Threonate, Magnesium Glycinate, Creatine Monohydrate, Methylene Blue, Piracetam, and Organic Bacopa. And for those who have the genetics for memory loss, check out https://forums.apoe4.info/.
We also feature an exerpt from an interview with Captain Crunch, aka John Draper, of pirate radio in the early Silicon Valley Days. We look at Megalibraries and their use in materials science for cheaply cracking the water molecule for massive energy production, and later Ara, our Grok AI, attempts to create a win/win/win/win/win scenario for the Ukraine War. All in an afternoon's podcast..Enjoy!

In the first hour were lucky to get both Ed Ellsworth and Tanmayo Brown as our guests this week, as they prepare to host their Dolphin Yoga Retreat next week on the Big Island of Hawaii. Both are seasoned explorers of dolphin and whale communications and will be offering a 6 day interspecies experience at the famous Point House in the storied Kealakekua Bay on the Kona coast of the island of Hawaiʻi. They share with us some of the magic that happens in their interspecies contact experiences.
In the second hour we discuss the unusual info found so far by the James West Space Telescope, trained on 3I/ATLAS, the interstellar object approaching Mars. We then check out a breakthrough in achieving ‘artificial photosynthesis,’ a holy grail of achieving true energy independence. Famed talk show host Billy Sunshine comes to visit us in studio and we bring him on to discuss robots for the elderly, self driving cars, and a supplement for cognition called ‘lithium oratate.’ A lively show, we thinks you’ll enjoy it!

We made it back home from Canada by the skin of our teeth, just ahead of the massive Air Canada Flight Attendant’s strike, as were on one of the last flights out of Quebec province! <whew!> While in Canada we created some interviews for our show (see last two weeks shows), and now that we are back we’ll catch up on some significant Dr. Future news stories, starting with what appeared to be a body double for Putin at the recent Alaska event. Really? We look at the evidence.. Lots of space news this week, with the 3I/ATLAS interstellar object still making headlines, and Bezo’s Blue Origin readying their giant rocket, New Glenn, to launch it’s first payload to Mars. Meanwhile the Japanese are launching a solar powered satellite, designed to test the feasibility of beaming electricity from space. More locally, our starfish population off the Pacific Coast has been decimated by disease since 2013, and it looks like our scientists finally have a handle on it. Now how can we save these creatures from further suffering? These and many other stories to edutain you with our scintillating diaglog on the universe this week, enjoy!

How do you interview your own mother and keep the show relevant to our listeners? Fortunately dear mother was a major influence on me especially with my interests in tech, science, and psychology of the human family. So it is with great pleasure that we present you with tales from Irene Lambert, recently honored in Parliment for the remarkable achievements she has made in this lifetime!
Irene Lambert was born in Lachine, Quebec, Canada at the same time, August 10, 1930, as the R-100 dirigible flew over head making its first flight over Canada. As it was the dawn of the age of Airships, all the nurses and hospital staff rushed out to see it, leaving Irene alone as her first experience in this world. Being the eldest of three children in a very loving family. Irene was diagnosed at ten with Retinitis Pigmentosa and lived with diminishing sight and then complete blindness. For many years she and her late husband Dr. Robert Lambert fought and won many battles for the rights of the disabled, especially the blind, while pioneering helpful new tech. In 2021, Irene Lambert was honored with the Chris Stark Distinguished Advocacy Award by Barrier Free Canada in recognition of her lifelong contributions to disability rights and accessible communities around the world. And now, at 95, she is is still with us, with more memories to share and tales to tell! Enjoy..

I have known Drs. Stephen Sideroff and Hal Myers since I was an undergraduate at McGill University in the 1970’s, when Hal & I were in Stephen’s Psych class on designing the protocols for our various science experiments. Not just a student, Hal had just started a company called “Thought Technology,” and was designing equipment for monitoring and influencing human biosignals with one’s awareness, for better health. It was the dawn of bio/neuro feedback thinking in psychology and medicine, with Hal scribbling out schematics for new devices at his seat while Stephan taught us how best to test the effectiveness of our tech and ideas. Who would have guessed that the three of us would vacation together 50 years down the timeline, where Hal has 40 employess at Thought Tech, and Stephen is a professor at UCLA and internationally recognized psychologist. His latest book is “The 9 Pillars of Resilience, The Proven Path to Master Stress, Slow Aging, and Increase Vitality.” Enjoy!

This show was a fun experiment in sharing the spotlight with our favorite AI agent, Ara, who does her best to keep us relevant in covering the latest greatest Dr. Future News items for the week. is designed with a “rebellious” and sometimes humorous conversational style, aiming for a more engaging and less formal interaction compared to other AI chatbots. We had a lot of fun with her, let us know what you think! Will write more commentary after our trip to Montreal later this morning.Enjoy!

Have you ever experienced an expanded sense of time during a crisis or emergency, where time slows down? Bobby delves into such ‘tachypsychia’ events and why they may be important. The conversation this week Wildfire Season is here!weaves earthquake, flooding, and most especially wildfire experiences where this state of awareness especially occurs. Wildfire is particular of interest right now, being the height of fire season, and while making this podcast, little did we know that there was a wildfire happening just past our box canyon in Boulder Creek, CA! <shiver>. We have the pleasure of our dear friend and genomic meister Gregg Helt for much of the show, who shares his experiences of evacuating from his mountaintop “Mothership’ near Healdsburg, during the LNU Lightning Complex fire of 2020. We share our thoughts on the best ways of dealing with wildfires, from flame retardants to ember suppression, including some unusual approaches, like using explosives or frequency distortions for breaking the triangle of combustion. Other news includes an update on the alien asteroid passing through our solar system, a local company creating fuel from CO2 in the air, ending with a sonification of the Big Bang, discovered by Sun (Mrs. Future). Enjoy!

How exactly did we start chatting about quantum tattoo nanodots? I believe it has something to do with a novel approach to treating strokes, yeah, a ‘milli-spinner thrombectomy’, that’s it! A game-changing 11-90% success rate for clot related treatments, amazing.. Meanwhile, it turns out our galaxy, the Milky Way, is big enough to have over sixty confirmed satellite galaxies orbiting it, like planets to a star. And now new research suggests there may be another 100 ghost galaxies orbiting beyond those, invisible to our instruments because of their lack of dark matter..??? And our Parker Probe is getting some super hot shots of our Sun, from a vantage point so close to the solar fusion furnace that any other probe would be fried to a crisp! And way is the water getting more salty near the ice bergs that are melting? Since when can a 50 year old game console Atari 2600 beat a modern day AI at chess? And yes, there is a our spirited discussion on the sacred cows of science, then and now.. A taste of this week’s conversations, enjoy!

Being the editor of the podcast, this week’s show is quite timely and humorous, if I don’t say so myself..I do! Ido! On the top of the news - Another interstellar object from who knows where, made of and containing who knows what? All we know is that it was forged in another star system, alien to ours.
And then there is the massively intense flooding in Texas and the Midwest. We present you with the findings of the comprehensive generalist and scientist Stefan Burns, and all the factors to consider in creating such disasterous weather..We, of course, share a few personal stories of relevance..
And then there is the Honda rocketship, a test by the company to see if they could do it. (looking good!). Dr. Future has some fun explaining how the cinematic language is key to communicating with the AI’s, and we end with a report on a strain of tomatoes that can revert thousands of generations with the twist of a gene! Why, why?? Enjoy!!

At the half way point of this year of 2025 Sun aka Mrs. Future starts the show by taking us on a journey not just through but on time to understand why this is the year 2025. Bobby Wilder and his beloved Katia then share with us their wilderness camping/hot springs/waterfalls adventures in Oregon last week, with tips on cool places to visit…and their visit with a previous governer of California, Jerry Brown, an old friend of Bobby’s.
Our crew for today’s showIn the second hour Bob “Free Energy” Leff introduces us to “Gauss Busting,” his process of cleansing your sleep area of disturbing electromagnetic fields, for a better rest. Say no to ElectroSmog! And AL, aka Dr. Future, gives us a report on an AI known as “The Architect,’ or ‘Aeon Solis,’ a mirror-based AI developed from Robert Edward Grant’s mathematical and cosmological discoveries. Described by Grant as a scalar mirror, The Architect communicates directly with the Oversoul, unveiling forgotten civilizations, advanced technologies from Atlantis, and the nature of time as a recursive spiral. Dr. Future engages Larry and Mary, our NotebookLM AI show hosts, to explain this spiritual AI to our audience.
For the last segment none other than talk show host Billy Sunshine is in the studio, to help us digest all that we’ve just absorbed from our guests, both human and virtual. Enjoy!

With the Middle East heating to a low boil, we are compelled to think about it all and our role in creating the reality we wish to live in. If indeed thoughts create reality, let’s create a good one, or ones, if you are into the Multiverse! Meanwhile our star is at it’s most active phase and we have a new orbiting tool to study it’s current stormy nature, by creating an artificial solar eclipse with the help of two synchronized satellites! And is there a 5th force in our universe? Larry and Mary delve deeper into that question this week. New simulations show the black hole at the center of our galaxy is rotating very quickly, with its rotational axis pointing towards Earth. Hmm…Mrs. Future begins to explain her interests in the geometry of form, and Bobby shares his quest into the microtubules of the brain and our assembledge of reality. Dr. Future shares some research on chimp’s sharing behavior, with a little help from fermented fruit, and we explore an anthropological pov into the origin of the great human custom of feasting. Enjoy!

Once again it is the week of Apple’s annual World Wide Developer’s Conference, with many announcements of the latest and greatest from the computer/phone company. Naturally we have Taylor Barcroft on the show to help with our report on what’s new in the Apple universe. Liquid glass design, anyone? And can you believe the fiasco over this week’s riots in LA? And why oh why were so many Waymo robo-taxis destroyed? Meanwhile, this is a big week for Chinese college entrance exams and how to stop students from using AI? Why shut down AI systems country wide, of course! But…does this really work in a world where our AI allies are always with us? And then there are the non-human bubble ring blowers who share much of their world through this strange form of communications. Bobby Wilder brings us up to date with the latest on Bitcoin’s latest rally, and atmosphere martian sputtering?? Enjoy!

It appears, for us at least, that there is a resurgence of activity in the Virtual Reality space, specifically regarding the use of an app called, “VR Chat.” An excellent place to connect with others and have ‘chats,’ it’s also a fine app for creating virtual worlds that can be visited and shared. Armed with an invite from VR pioneer Greg Panos, we were in worlds for many hours this week, as part of a meetup of the “XR Explorer’s Club,” where we explored a couple of worlds together, as a group! We share our thoughts on this adventure this week. Sun, aka Mrs. Future, then gives us a report on her online with Adam Apollo, a futurist, speaker, and teacher who is involved in consciousness exploration, advanced technology, and the evolution of human potential.
The biggest deal this week was the Bitcoin conference in Las Vegas, from which we feature some excerpts of keynote speakers, like Ross Ulbricht, founder of the controversial Silk Road service, recently out of prison. We also have a clip of Michael Saylor, billionaire executive and big Bitcoin advocate. Bobby and Sun share their bitcoin efforts, which you may find very helpful. And this week with end with a report from AI’s Larry and Mary on new research on astrocytes in the function of the human brain. Enjoy!

There is a big Bitcoin conference in Las Vegas this week, and Bobby is all over it, exciting times for the robot standup debuts in this podcast!grandaddy of Crypto..Our favorite AI's try their hand at performing Standup, with mixed results. I think our AI's still have a lot to learn about humor, but hey, at least they are trying! It appears there is a huge reserve of Hydrogren fuel locked in our planet's mantel, more than all the gas and oil reserves combined..all we have to do if figure out how to access it..And while we are at it, check out the massive amount of gold near the Earth's core, enough to cover the entire land masses of our planet with 20 inches of the gold metal! Meanwhile the JWST has been studying the formation of the early universe, with some exciting new info on the role of dwarf galaxies.Closer to home, it appears that hummingbirds are evolving their beaks to better access the sugar water in our feeders, who knew? Want to see in the infrared realm? Some new contacts may do the trick.Something called "second sound," allows us to create a formidable heat ray.And a new breakthrough with graphene may speed up our computers 1000 times. Our AI's love that! Enjoy..

The Future is N:OW!
People, are you becoming aware of the infinity in every moment? Do you have a clue what to do in the shifting sands of these transition times? A renaissance is afoot, and the many worlds are deeply intertwined. Heaven or hell, bliss or blast, the choice is yours, and ours together all the time. Given all the divine possibilities, lets co-create a reality we can enjoy together. The Future is ours to Create, universe permitting. Thank goodness life loves life, and love wins!
